EPL: Arsenal rekindles title hopes after beating Wolves 2-0 at Molineux

Arsenal go top of the English Premier League on Saturday after a 2-0 win over Wolves at Molineux.

Recall that Mikel Arteta’s men missed the chance last Sunday after a shock 2-0 defeat to Aston Villa in the emirate.

However, the Gunners controlled the game at the Molineux and took the lead in the first half thanks to smart finishing from Leandro Trossard.

Captain Martin Odegaard then scored for the Gunners in the final minutes of the match to ensure they left the Molineus with three points.

With five games to go, Arsenal now have 74 points after 33 games.

Manchester City are second with 73 points from 32 games, while Liverpool, who face Everton on Sunday, are on 71 points.
