Meet UP Board Class 10 topper Prachi Nigam, who scored 591/600 marks

The Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education has declared the results of the class 10 and 12 examinations on April 20, 2024. Prachi Nigam from Sitapur district has secured the first position in the state in the class 10 examination, with an impressive score of 98.50 percent, which translates to 591 out of 600 points.

Prachi, a student of Sita Bal Vidya Mandir Inter College, Sitapur, expressed her joy and surprise at being the board topper. “I never thought I would be a board topper in high school. I prepared well, but the number one position was not in my mind. I am proud that my hard work paid off,” she said .

Prachi wants to become an engineer and plans to crack the IIT-JEE exam to achieve her goal. She attributed her success to attending classes regularly, emphasizing that consistent efforts lead to excellent results.

Prachi’s father, Chandra Prakash Nigam, is a contractor, and her mother, Mamta Nigam, is a homemaker. She has a brother and a sister, both of whom are in class 10. In her free time, Prachi enjoys talking to people, reading books and playing badminton with her siblings.

In the class 10th results, 93.40 percent of girls and 86.05 percent of boys passed. In the class 12th results, 88.42 percent of girls and 77.78 percent of boys passed.
