Joel Embiid returns to complete Game 1 – NBA News

1 minute agoPhiladelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid (knee) finished with 29 points, eight boards, six assists and two steals in Saturday’s playoff loss to the Knicks. The reigning MVP struggled shooting the ball, going 8-for-22 from the field and 2-for-8 from deep. But more importantly, he hit his left knee hard on a dunk late in the second quarter and left the game. Luckily, he returned to start the third quarter and finished the game. However, Embiid should undergo more testing ahead of Game 2 on Monday night. But it’s possible he won’t be there, opening the door for Mo Bamba and Paul Reed to take over at center.Dennis Clausen-RotoBaller
